
Young researchers & mobility grants
These grants aim to initiate or strengthen scientific collaborations with a foreign laboratory.
Eligibility criteria
Doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, and young recruits (ANR criteria1) affiliated with a national research organization. Conducting research related to light-matter interactions. Have received a letter of acceptance for a stay at an international research laboratory, public or private, scientific or industrial.
Support granted
A maximum of €5,000 to finance the mission (provisional budget to be provided).
Application procedure
All applications must be submitted by completing the online form and attaching:
• The mobility project (3 pages max) file name : “Firstname Lastname – Projet de mobilité”
• A letter of support from the thesis supervisor/line manager (2 pages max) file name : “Firstname Lastname – Soutien”
• A letter of invitation from the host laboratory file name : “Firstname Lastname – Invitation”
Evaluation et selection
Two sessions are planned for reviewing applications. For the first session, selection will be made from among the applications received by November 20, 2025. For the second session, selection will be made from among the applications received by April 20, 2026.
Applications are evaluated by program management according to the following criteria:
• Scientific quality and relevance of the mobility;
• Adequacy of the mobility project with the targeted research objectives and themes.
• Prospects envisaged following the mobility.
- The candidate must have defended their doctoral thesis less than 10 years prior to the application deadline. For young permanent staff, they must have been in their position for less than 5 years. Exceptions to these conditions are possible in certain circumstances (maternity/paternity leave, etc.). ↩︎
